I got my poll results. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton tied with Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli for first place. So I started The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender immediately on night one.
Walton crafted an beautiful world and story around one little house. One family’s journey through the weird. Such beautiful prose and a quick read in the best way. I really sank into the world and story as I read. 4/5 stars from me for such an innovative tale.
Simon vs The Homo Sapien Agenda is next on my list to tackle and I’ll have an update when I finish it.
